ABOUT HEARTFELT DESIGNS
Donna crafts all her designs by hand in Scituate, Massachusetts using needle felting,
Even as a young child, Donna was always busy making things whether it was Barbie clothes or crocheting blankets and scarves. "I love the feeling of fiber on my fingers and am inspired by all the shades of wool".
Over the years, Donna branched out into cross stitch and needlepoint before discovering needle felting. "With needle felting I start with pieces of 100% pure wool and use special barbed needles to create 'mini-sculptures' out of fiber. I love the feeling of fiber on my fingers and am inspired by all the shades of wool".
Donna features new and seasonal designs throughout the year. "My goal is to create things with a touch of whimsy that put smiles on people's faces and help make every day just a little bit brighter".

About Needle Felting
Felt has been part of people's lives dating back thousands of years. Needle felting is a technique where special barbed needles are used to make "mini-sculptures" out of fiber.
Donna uses 100% pure wool and natural accents in all her work. Everything is crafted by hand in Massachusetts.
No two pieces are exactly the same, and each can take up to an hour to make.
